Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders Training

 Did you miss the fall training opportunities?

Get the training you need to have a great Webelos Den campout.

There are only THREE more training opportunities available before June!

 The spring camping season is about to begin and our Webelos Dens really want to go camping as a den. All Webelos leaders need to attend the Otdoor Leader Skills training so you will be able to guide your den to a fantastic outdoor experience.

 There are lots of differences between what you can do as a Webelos Den and what can be done at the Pack level – attend OLS-WL to learn the ropes. Please don’t wait to register – courses have class size limits and will fill up quickly. Most districts also have minimum class size requirements in order to keep the class from being cancelled. Remember – All training is open to leaders from all districts but YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND ANY TRAINING.

BSA has commissioned a 100th anniversary Big Rig kit, so that got our wheels turning regarding having these monster rigs racing down the track. You dp NOT have to use this kit as the basis for your rig, but you SHOULD decorate your "Pack" entry to represent your unit… Pack number, pictures of your mascot, etc.

Extravaganza 2010 features 8 different Treks, choose a Trek and you’re set. Scouts will enjoy a structured program filled with lots of challenging and exciting programs.

Daniel Boone Adventure: Features a Turkey shoot, wild game food tasting, taxidermy demonstration, Archery, Rifle, Black powder and Shotgun target shooting. Scouts will also get a brief Hunters Safety overview as well as a Native American weapons experience. The “Big Bang” finishes the weekend, as Scouts watch demonstrations of large caliber weapons!
