Dear Advisor,
The 2009 Super Weekend will be held February 20-22, 2009. If you are planning on attending the weekend, please complete the registration forms in a timely manner. The Super Weekend is attended by more than 300 youth and we are expecting to exceed those numbers this year.
The cost for the Super Weekend will be $29.00 per person attending the weekend. Meals will start with breakfast on Saturday morning and will end with breakfast on Sunday morning. All Posts and Crews must complete the Registration Form and return it with their payment to the Central Fl Council. Payment and registration must be at council headquarters by February 17, 2009. Please make all checks payable to the  CFCBSA.
Due to the outstanding attendance at the 2008 Super Weekend, the number of posts allowed to compete in the team events will be limited. Scheduling for team events will be on a first come first served basis. Your Post/Crew will be registered for team events upon return of your Team Events Registration Form. Please return these forms ASAP. When registering your Post/Crew for a team event please read and follow the directions carefully.

Attached to this letter are the necessary registration forms and an agenda for the Super Weekend. Please complete all competition registration forms and return to Jerry Brady no later than February 17, 2009.
Two (2) person tents are also available at the campsites. If your Post/Crew is in need of tents, please indicate the number of tents needed on the Tent Request Form. If you’re Post/Crew have tents please bring them, and indicate approximately how many tents you will be bringing.

La-No-Che has had some cold weather during the month of February. Each Post/Crew member needs to be prepared for cold weather. Please bring the appropriate cold weather and rain gear.

If you should have any questions or concerns, please give me a call.

Sincerely,

Jerry Brady

    Notable Qoutables

Scouting exposes young men to people and experiences that encourage and nurture positive moral values. But we mustn’t take Scouting for granted. You can do nothing more important for young people today than to continue, or begin, your support of Scouting. I have never met anyone with devoted Scouting experience who was not a solid citizen, a loyal friend, and a patriot. We need more of them. — Wallace G. Wilkinson, former Governor of Kentucky
