For all Commissioners who have already completed the Basic Commissioner Training: THE "BACHELOR" COURSE IS THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR TRAINING— The Bachelors course gives a more in depth study of the Commissioners responsibilities and how to deal with unit problems – a tool needed to help you with the units you mentor. For those who have completed the Bachelor’s course, your next step is the MASTER’S program. The Masters program is for Administrative Commissioners (District Commissioners and ADC’s) or Unit Commissioners who would like to prepare themselves to become a District Commissioner or an ADC. And for those who have completed the Master’s program, you’ll have the opportunity to begin work on your Doctor of Commissioner Science degree!
THE BACHELORS, MASTERS AND DOCTORAL PROGRAMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE
2010 COLLEGE OF COMMISSIONER SCIENCE!
The Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programs in the College of Commissioner Science are courses driven by a national syllabus and are designed to enhance the knowledge of Commissioners, giving them tools to provide skilled assistance to their units.
Our council offers the Commissioner’s advanced degree program annually through the College of Commissioner Science.
The Commissioner’s Degree program is completely separate and different from any degrees you may have earned through the University of Scouting! The national Commissioners Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programs are longer be offered as a part of the Central Florida Council University of Scouting so your only opportunity to earn these Commissioner-specific advanced degrees is through the College of Commissioner Science.
