Feb 19th by Bo Terry Continue ReadingThe Seminole Trails February Roundtable will be held Thursday, February 19th at the LDS church in Lake Mary starting at 7PM. This Roundtable is going to be an amazing event. We say event because so many awesome Scouting items will be taking place. Our Roundtable staff team has prepared some informative breakout sessions, and our Family Fest team is ready to kickoff the 2009 Family Fest. We’ll discuss upcoming district events such as district pinewood derby, spring Camporee, district banquet, day camp, and training.
The 2009 Family Fest held at Cranes Roost Park on Saturday, May 2nd is sure to be an incredible scout display for our community. In the past Packs, Troops, and Crews have had scouting exhibits that focus on art, nature, rocketering, astronomy, sports, first aid, cooking, pioneering, conservation, reptile study and much much more.
The 2009 Family Fest is also going to have an incredible component that helps every Pack, Troop, and Crew deliver the best Scouting program in the country to their Scouts. This component is the 2009 Family Fest Discount Card Sales. Your scouting unit will receive up to 40% commission on the sale of these awesome cards. Yes, I said 40%. The 2009 Family Fest Discount Card is full of awesome discounts from all over our community like McDonalds, Subway, Sonic, Good Year, Domino’s, Checkers, Panera and a whole bunch more. To top it off the cards sell for only $10.00. Every Pack, Troop, and Crew in our District will be placing discount card orders by our February Roundtable. Now is a great time to put together your Family Fest team.
