This is a general question that will likely help everyone in some way or another – As we look at the entire year of our Scouting Program, I would like some feedback on what you are all keeping an eye on when it comes to short term and long term planning for your Monthly Leaders Meetings. For example… we are in March of 2009. What type of agenda items are you all working on this month, as it relates to short term and long term planning?
I would love to get some feedback on the following activities/events, and when you start the planning process vs. the dates you intend to conduct those activities I.E. ” Pinewood Derby – held in January, first discussed in October Leaders Meetings”. I am sure we all have different ideas about this subject, but for the benefit of working towards the potential of a workable framework for brand new units, I thought it would be a good starting point brainstorm and gain knowledge from the experience of our 24 diverse groups.
